Summary

Description
English: George Whitman House on the NRHP since October 11, 1990. At 431 Stevens St., in Camden, New Jersey. George was the brother of Walt Whitman who lived a couple blocks away. The house pictured is actually 429 Stevens St. and the grassy lot with the cars parked on it is the site of 431, which burned down in 1991, according to the guide at the Walt Whitman House. But little does the NRHP know about it!
