Summary

Description
English: GENCODE pipeline diagram. The schema shows the flow of data between manual annotation and automated annotation trough specialized prediction pipelines to provide hints to first-pass annotation and quality control (QC). Annotated gene models are subject to experimental validation, and the AnnoTrack tracking system contains data from all groups and is used to highlight differences, coordinate QC, and track outcomes. Manual and automated annotation processes produce the GENCODE data set and also apply QC to the completed annotation.
