Description
English: The metaphysicians and authors René Guénon (1886-1951 ) and Frithjof Schuon (1907-1998) had been corresponding since 1931, but it wasn't until 1938 that Schuon was able to visit Guénon at Guénon’s home in Cairo. Schuon was able to return to see Guénon once more, in 1939, for their last visit. They continued their frequent correspondence until Guénon’s death.
