DescriptionFormer Central Elementary School in Tacoma, WA (2023).jpg
The former Central Elementary School building, at 8th Street and Tacoma Avenue in Tacoma, Washington, was completed in 1913 and served as an elementary school until about 1969. It had also housed offices of the school district, and with the 1969–70 school year the students were relocated to a reorganized McCarver School, leaving the historic building in use solely as the headquarters of Tacoma Public Schools – known as the Tacoma Public Schools Central Administration Building.
