Summary

Description
English: Detail of the Fordington Roman Mosaic Pavement, found in 1903 on the site of Lott and Walnes's Foundary, High Street, Fordington, and lifted in 1927. The head in the apse is of Oceanus flanked by two dolphins and two fish. The god's hair and beard are seaweed. On display in the Dorset County Museum.
