English: Fordham Station The station was built in 1879, and closed in September 1965, it served the Bury St Edmunds – Ely main line, and the Cambridge - Mildenhall branch, which had closed in 1962. The yard and buildings were used in turn by a roofing/scaffolding contractor, and as a waste management depot, they are currently unoccupied, awaiting redevelopment. The railway tracks are still in use, they are the other side of the buildings.
