Summary

Description
English: Folded and refolded layers of Boyne Limestone Formation (part of the Tayvallich Subgroup, the upper part of the Argyll Group of the Dalradian Supergroup) at Boyne Bay near Portsoy in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Here it is exposed to the wind and sea and is much etched as a result. Scale: about 1 metre across. The limestone has been metamorphosed.
