English: The first Norwood High School in Norwood, Ohio (right) was located at Allison Street and Courtland Avenue next to Allison Elementary School (left) and opened in 1897. The elementary school expanded into the high school building when a new high school on Sherman Avenue opened in 1914. The old high school building on the right in this photo was destroyed in a fire in 1917, but the elementary school building on the left still exists.
