English: Fire pump, Bancroft Mill This is a Mather and Platt "Underwriter" steam fire pump of 1890. it was used on a sprinkler system in a textile mill at Gargrave until 1975 and was then donated by Johnson & Johnson to the Yorkshire Dales Railway at Embsay. It subsequently gravitated to Bancroft Mill and is displayed in the mill yard.
