English: Head of a female Silvery-cheeked hornbill – note the truncated shape of the casque, besides the fleshy, pinkish eye-ring, which distinguish the female from a male. Female Hornbill from the Central Florida Zoo. She was hatched there and is very affectionate toward the employees handling her. She layed her head on the chest of the young lady who was showing her to us and enjoyed being stroked.
