Description
English: FCAB engines Clyde GL26C no. 1452, EMD GR12U no. 1412 and Clyde G26C-2 no. 2001 climb the eastern approach of the Cumbre pass on their way from a copper mine to Antofagasta and Mejillones. The train consists of flatcars loaded with copper plates and empty sulfuric acid tank cars. Image taken between Prat and Cumbre, Chile.
Deutsch: Die FCAB-Loks Clyde GL26C Nummer 1452, EMD GR12U Nummer 1412 und Clyde G26C-2 Nummer 2001 erklimmen die Ostseite des Cumbre-Pass auf ihrem Weg von einer Kupfermine nach Antofagasta und Mejillones. Der Zug besteht aus mit Kupferplatten beladenen Flachwagen und leeren Schwefelsäure-Tankwagen. Das Bild wurde zwischen Prat und Cumbre, Chile, aufgenommen.
