Description
English: Three U.S. Navy McDonnell F3H-2 Demons of fighter squadron VF-53 Pukin Dogs in 1961. VF-53 was assigned to Carrier Air Group Five (CVG-5) aboard the aircraft carrier USS Ticonderoga (CVA-14) for a deployment to the Western Pacific from 10 May 1961 to 15 January 1962. On 20 June 1962 VF-53 was redesignated VF-143 Pukin Dogs.
