English: Eugène-Paul Coupat (1842–1890), Paris Foreign Missions Society missionary to Western Szechwan from 1868 to 1882, and Eastern Szechwan since 1882. He was appointed Apostolic Vicar of Eastern Szechwan in 1883. See also "Catholic Church in Szechwan".
