Español: Representación para wikipedia del escudo de la ciudad de Sevilla, según el blasón siguiente: En campo de plata, sobre estrado de gules, sentado en un trono, de oro, y surmontado de un baldaquín, de púrpura, un rey vestido de púrpura y manto de armiño, coronado de oro, con una espada en la diestra y un mundo en la siniestra, acompañado de dos obispos vestidos, de plata y oro, con mitra y báculo, de oro. En punta el monograma "NO8DO" de oro.

Ese "monograma" en realidad es un jeroglífico que el Rey Fernando III incorporó al escudo de Sevilla en agradecimiento a su lealtad durante los conflictos acaecidos en su reinado. Ese "NO8DO" , donde en realidad el 8 es una madeja de lana, se debería leer como "NO MADEJA DO", es decir, "NO ME HA DEJADO", lo cual expresa que la ciudad de Sevilla siempre fué fiel al Rey Fernando III, de ahí que él incluyera el mencionado jeroglífico.
