The project, whilenot of extraordinary physical magnitude, possesses un-usual interest, first, because of the selection of thesingle-phase system of operation for suburban service,and second, because of natural interest in the Pennsyl-vania Railroads vast electrification scheme, of whichthe present installation is a beginning.
