The Dutch windmill Egeskov Mill 2 km from Egeskov Castle. The present mill was built in 1855. In 1952 Egeskov Mill became familiar to all Danes when the illustrator Ib Andersen used it as a motif on the new ten-kroner note, and to many people it is still known as the Ten-Kroner Mill.
