DescriptionEdge of woodland, Coffins Holms, New Forest - geograph.org.uk - 288188.jpg
English: Edge of woodland, Coffins Holms, New Forest The open nature of this oak woodland on Burley Hill is partly due to grazing by the commoners' stock (mainly ponies here). The woodland floor is very mossy and in this exposed, west-facing, location the fallen leaves of autumn are soon swept away.
