English: An oil painting depicting a huge crowd celebrating in a village square. In the background is the church and the Red Lion Inn; in among the raucous crowd can be seen bear-baiting, morris dancing, and fights. The more than 200 figures depicted here were allegedly all drawn from life by the artist.
