DescriptionEast 122nd Ave MAX station, westbound platform.jpg
The westbound platform of the East 122nd Avenue MAX station, viewed from the southwest. The building at left was originally (1986) a passenger shelter covering a wheelchair lift, but all wheelchair lifts on the MAX system were removed in late 1997 after TriMet's placement into service of low-floor light rail cars made them unneeded. The railing blocking the opening next to the platform's edge was installed after that change, but the shelter remains open on its east side.
