Description

Original lamp standard dated 1905. Manufactured by Gallender Company Limited, London. This lamp post has been given protection by English Heritage and listed as Grade II. Situated at the junction of west end of Park Hill at the point it joins Mount Park Road, Ealing W5, UK It is part of Ealing's original electric street lighting system which started in 1894.

In the background is an example of the current style of black-gloss lamp posts which started to be installed in 2007.
