Français : Docteur Ivan Colmant, né à Nivelles le 14 novembre 1892 et décédé à Liège le 2 septembre 1976, était un docteur en médecine et chirurgien ophtalmologue. Milicien en 1914, il fait toute la guerre dans l'Infanterie. Pendant la guerre de 1940, il s'est donné avec vigueur à la résistance.
English: Dr. Ivan Colmant, November 14, 1892 - September 2, 1976, was a doctor of medicine and an eye surgeon. A Militia member in 1914, he spent WW1 in the Infantry. During WW2, he was part of the Belgian anti-Nazi résistance.
Deutsch: Dr. Ivan Colmant, (* 14. November 1892 in Nivelles; † 2. September 1976 in Lüttich) war Doktor der Medizin und Augenchirurg. Gehörte 1914 einer Miliz an, verbrachte den 1. Weltkrieg in der Infanterie. Während des 2. Weltkriegs war er Teil der belgischen Widerstandsbewegung.
