English: Rear Adm. Douglas J. McAneny, Commander, Submarine Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet receives a Navy Week proclamation from Lieutenant Governor Rick Sheehy during a visit to the capitol building. The event is part of Omaha Navy Week, one of 21 Navy Weeks planned across America in 2009. Navy Weeks are designed to show Americans the investment they have made in their Navy and increase awareness in cities that do not have a significant Navy presence.
