Afgebeeld zijn onder andere de oorlogsschepen: de Maan (of Halve Maan), Sampson, Witte Olifant, Maagd van Enkhuizen, Levant Mercahant, Zeven Provinciën, Bonaventura, Paragon, Zon, Eendracht, Leopard en Mary. Op de voorgrond het zinkende schip Sampson met de bemanning die het schip verlaat.
