Description
English: Close-up of part of senescent flower of pot-grown specimen of Datura metel 'Fastuosa' : incipient abcission of fruiting calyx ( faded from green to yellowish-buff, but still displaying its purple striations ) from frill at tip of pedicel / peduncle. Note also contrast between green pedicel and glossy, purple-black stem with pale speckles, upon which it is borne.
