Deutsch: Die Gestaltung stammt von Otto Renkhoff, sie basiert auf einem Gemeindesiegel Stephanshausens von 1743. Der Drache und die Lanze waren zusammen mit dem Erzengel Michael auf dem Siegel abgebildet, dieser hielt das Patrozinium des Ortes inne.
