DescriptionCyclone Mark V Engine Cross Section.png
English: Cross Section of Cyclone Mark V Engine. Fuel is burned in the Combustion Chamber (red) and heat from the gasses is transferred to water in the Steam Generator (blue circles) turning it into steam. Cam and Pushrod operated Valves (orange) admit steam to the Cylinders (black), pushing on the Pistons (teal) and turning the Crankshaft (yellow) via the Connecting Rods (green). Exhaust steam is condensed back to water by the corrugated Condenser (green) which is stored in the Sump (blue).
