Summary
| Description | Scharloo is the section of Willemstad just north of Punda, the center of the city. At one time, it was the site of mansions, particularly of rich merchants. Many were built in the early 19th century. Many of the mansions fell into disrepair, and some have been restored. Queen Juliana Bridge is in the background, as it is in many scenes of Willemstad. |
