English: Planisphere of Nineveh العربية: لوح دائري من العصر الاشوري القديم يعود للقرن السابع عشر قبل الميلاد، عثر عليه في مكتبة اشوربانيبال في الموصل، محفوظ في المتحف البريطاني. مدون من وجه واحد بالكتابة المسمارية، يمثل خارطة السماء وتحديد مواقع النجوم والابراج، يقسم قبة السماء الى ثمانية حقول مثلثة متساوية، كل حقل بزاوية 45 درجة، تستعرض الحقول اشكال الابراج واسماءها، بالاضافة الى الفصول الاربعة (الصيف والخريف والشتاء والربيع) وتعاقب الليل والنهار. |
