Summary

Description
English: Cryolophosaurus (meaning 'cold' or 'frozen', in reference to its discovery in Antarctica) ellioti was named for the unique crest that was probably a display feature. The holotype fossil (FMNH PR1821) is the back part of the skull. The front half appears to be a reference to the Pre-2020 Dilophosaurus skull as seen my the notch in the tooth row.
