The Covid-19 data are obtained from the file above as follow: 1. The cumulative cases are summed up for all countries and regions. 2. The total cumulative cases are differentiated to obtain the new cases. 3. The new cases are aggregated per month. 4. The new cases per month are differentiated to obtain the monthly increases.

5. The monthly increases are divided by 1,000 to fit on the graph.
