Aerial photograph taken by Steve Bunting on Oct. 16, 2017. The view shows the entire causeway. At the right end, the timbers are seen at the terminus end where the causeway intersects the creek. At the left end, the elevated portion extends into the woods and is noted by the tall pine tree. The causeway crossed the marsh and was elevated using sand as fill. Over time, the sand has washed away and the ground thereunder is quite unstable, yet the line or path it took is still quite visible.
