Summary

Description
English: An artist's rendition of Earth's interior structures (left) and those of the exoplanet Kepler-93b (right), which is 1.5 times larger and 4 times more massive than Earth. According to recent research, rocky worlds have comparable structures: a thin crust sits on top of a mantle that surrounds a core that holds around one-third of the planet's mass.
