Summary

Description
English: Trafford Waters, Land Between Manchester Ship Canal And Trafford Boulevard/Old Barton Road, Urmston

With plans approved by Trafford Council, Trafford Waters is set to become one of the UK’s most exciting new mixed-use sustainable and vibrant £1 billion, urban neighbourhood in the heart of TraffordCity.

The scheme, which will evolve over the next 20 years, will bring 3,000 new homes, local amenities, over 100,000 sq ft of amenity space and 750,00 sq ft of offices to the area. With works set to commence in 2020, the development is estimated to create over 5,000 jobs and include a new primary school, open space for residents, employees and visitors to live, work and play plus high-quality public space and landscaping with green and water corridors throughout the development.

Trafford Waters benefits from excellent communication links via the adjacent M60 /M62 Motorway links, a bus terminal at Intu Trafford Centre and from the new metrolink service, which is due to start operating in early 2020.

Public domain
The Public Domain Mark (PDM) is not a copyright license, but a symbol used to indicate that a work is in the public domain. When it is applied by the author or the copyright holder, community consensus has decided such works as being public domain in the US and countries where it is legally possible to release own work to the public domain. In the countries where this is not possible, the copyright status of the work remains undetermined.
If a file is tagged with Public Domain Mark by someone other than the author or the copyright holder, a more specific copyright tag such as one found at Commons:Copyright tags/General public domain must be applied. If this is your own work, please use {{Cc-zero}} instead.
