English: College Square North, Belfast (2). See 439170. The Old Museum Building (no 7 College Square North) was completed in 1831 to a design by Duff and Jackson. Two points of interest - (1) it was paid for by voluntary subscriptions (no lottery in those days) and (2) the architects are said to have been influenced by classical Greek architecture http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Greek_Revival_architecture to the extent that this portico is reputed to be an exact copy of the octagon tower of Andronicus in Athens.
