Information on thumbnail page:[1] "The Stella Vine Paintings.
Date of paintings July 2001 - April 2002 ... I met Stella in the summer of 2001. We got married in New York three months later and split up two months after that. During that time and its immediate aftermath I did about 30 paintings and 250 drawings ... Most of the drawings were done during the relationship and most of the paintings after it. The seaside paintings are all based on a visit to Whitstable for a couple of days".
