English: Ceratosaurus nasicornis is a medium-sized theropod characterized by the prominent horn on its snout. It is estimated around 7 m in length, and had a proportionally large head. In addition to the nasal horn, Ceratosaurus featured a large brow ridge over each eye. While intimidating in appearance, the nasal horn was most likely used solely for display.
