English: This decision tree represents Carlton's (2005) simple solution to the Monty Hall problem. It is conditioned on the problem premise that the host will reveal a goat every time. Most of the information in the tree comes from vos Savant's rendering of Whitaker's letter. The initial odds are from Carlton, the 'Probability After Revealing A Goat' is simple math (1/3 * 100% = 1/3, 2/3* 100% = 2/3).
