English: Published on in Sights and Scenes in Ireland (P.25) by Cassell and Company in reign of Queen Victoria to 1901 this photograph by George Clarendon, a photographer of Kingstown c1858 d 28 November 1924 Rathdown aged 66 (1901 census claims age 40) this show the East Pier, Carlisle Pier with the original engine shed and the view over the eastern half of the harbour with the view of Howth Head to the back.
