DescriptionCameron Bridge station and distillery - geograph.org.uk - 997107.jpg
English: Cameron Bridge station and distillery A winter's day with springtime vegetation yet to sprout enables the disused track layout at the former Cameron Bridge station to be more clearly seen. The left-hand track used to pass into the distillery through a gate but, following a trial a few years ago, huge lorries are deemed a cheaper option for bringing in the grain and bottles for the distilled spirit than re-organising the rail-loading facilities. The railway to Cameron Bridge has now been severed from the outside world near Thornton Junction.
