English: This is Calle Prat, a street in the historic district of Valparaiso, Chile. The street is named after Arturo Prat Chacón, a Chilean admiral and naval hero. This particular block hosts various banks, such as the local branches of BBVA and Banco de Chile. The Aubry Hotel ("Hotel Aubry") stood at this approximate location. Hotel Aubry was one of the most popular lodgings in town until it was destroyed by an earthquake in 1906. Puerto Rican pro-independence leader Segundo Ruiz Belvis died at the hotel in November 1867.
