For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. Das erste Laubenganghaus in Berlin-Steglitz! Dieses eigenartige Haus ist an der Aussenfront mit Laubengängen versehen, von welchem aus die einzelnen Wohnungen betreteten werden. Der grosse Vorzug dieser Bauart liegt darin, dass man die nicht immer einwandfrei gelüfteten Mietstreppenhäuser durch einen luftigen sonnigen Gang ersetzt hat. Ausserdem geniesst der einzelne Mieter die Behaglichkeit des Einfamilienhauses. Im Obergeschoss sind zwei grosse Luft- und Sonnenbäder für die Mieter vorhanden.
