English: The ruins of the Church of Saint Demetrius in 1945 after the Siege of Budapest. The Serbian Orthodox Cathedral was built between 1742 and 1751 in Baroque style by Ádám Mayerhoffer, and rebuilt after the 1810 Tabán fire. The church was seriously damaged in 1945 during the siege of Budapest, and finally demolished in 1949.
Magyar: A tabáni Szent Demeter-templom romjai 1945-ben, az ostrom után. A szerb ortodox székesegyház 1742 és 1751 között épült Mayerhoffer Ádám tervei szerint barokk stílusban, és az 1810-es tabáni tűzvész után újjáépítették. Budapest ostroma során 1945-ben súlyosan megsérült, 1949-ben lebontották.
