English: Brompton railway station (site), Yorkshire Opened in 1854 by the Leeds Northern Railway, soon to become part of the North Eastern Railway, on the line from Northallerton to Eaglescliffe, this station closed in 1965.
View north east towards Welbury and Eaglescliffe. The main station building had been to the left, and a small goods yard had existed just behind the camera position.
