Summary

Description
English: Pages 2 and 3 of a U.S. government brochure possibly titled "Social Security is Family Protection" or "For more information ..." (both large-typeface statements on the first page of the brochure), giving basic advice for people who have just received a Social Security card; the second page is on the left and the third page is on the right (another image, File:BrochureUSSocialSecurity1961Pages1and4FormOAAN7006.jpg, has the first and fourth [last] pages from the other side of the paper); the original brochure is colored as shown in this image (brownish red ink on paper that looks and feels like an old manila file folder, and about the same thickness); the folded brochure is about three inches wide by about five inches long, with the first two pages slightly wider than the rest; the right edge of the first page (which is the left edge of the second page) is rough, indicating something may have been torn from it (perhaps an additional page holding the Social Security card itself, as mentioned in the last paragraph of page two)
Date Appears to be 1961, given the numbers at the bottom of the first page ("7-61" and "GPO: 1961")
Source U.S. Government brochure, bottom of first page states: Form OAAN 7006 (7-61) / GPO: 1961—0-601342
