| Description |
English: Insignia of partisan divisions of Valsesia and Ossola. Born at the end of August '44, ordered by number of 15,000 to a firm in Milan by Moscatelli through the brother of a partisan Valsesia. The firm said it did not feel safe for all its workers and that the risk was too much. It was thought to turn the barrier making them similar to those that German Alpenjaeger. Just to have a different leaf and more dots in the center, not gold. If they had checked it could pass for an order of the Wehrmacht. Thus, all the partisans of the Valsesia and Ossola had their badges.
Italiano: Mostrine delle divisioni partigiane Valsesiane e Ossolane. Nate a fine agosto del '44, ordinate in numero di 15.000 ad una ditta di Milano da Moscatelli tramite il fratello di un partigiano Valsesiano. La ditta rispose che non si sentiva sicura di tutti i suoi operai e che il rischio era troppo. Si pensò di girare l'ostacolo facendole simili a quelle che gli alpenjager tedeschi. Differenti solo per avere una fogliolina di più ed i pallini, al centro, non dorati. Se si fossero controllate la cosa poteva passare per una ordinazione della Wehrmacht. Così tutti i garibaldini della Valsesia e dell'Ossola ebbero le loro mostrine. |
