Summary

Description
English: Comparison between Monotype Bookman (above in the samples) and Caslon (below; the Williams Caslon Text revival is used), scaled to matching cap height. The lower-case letters of Bookman are wider and higher (a higher x-height). The original metal type Bookman was not quite like this, but almost all modern digital versions of Bookman follow the style of the influential ITC Bookman of 1975, and Monotype Bookman is one of these.
