English: KINGS of MAURETANIA. Bocchus II. 49-33 BC. Æ “Triens” or “Quadrans” (19mm, 4.38 g, 9h). Iol/Caesarea mint. REX [B]OCCHV[S] SO[S]I [F] (last 2 S’s retrograde), bare head right, wearing beard / [BQŠ] HMT in neo-Punic, lion advancing right. RPC I 875; MAA 61; Mazard 120 bis; SNG Copenhagen -. VF, black-green patina, rough surfaces. Extremely rare.
