English: Dark blue flower of the Smoke tree - Psorothamnus spinosus, also vernacularly known as the Smokethorn and Indigobush.
  • Photographed at the information center of Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, in the Colorado Desert, southern California, U.S.
  • The top section of the plant has many green insects feeding.
