Français : Armoiries et ornements de la ville de Paris, d'après les lettres patentes de Napoléon 1er, 29 janvier 1811. Le chef pour les villes de premier ordre, ou bonnes villes de l’Empire, était de gueules chargé de trois abeilles d’or. À la proue de la nef, la déesse Isis assise.


English: Coat of arms of Paris under Napoleon I, beginning 29 January 1811. The fleur-de-lis pattern in the traditional coat of arms was replaced by three bees (a Napoleonic symbol), and a figure of the Egyptian goddess Isis was added to the prow of the ship.
