English: Harness with monitor worn by puppeteer Carroll Spinney when performing the "Big Bird" puppet for the TV series Sesame Street, 1970s. Exhibit at the Museum of the Moving Image (MOMI) in New York City. As explained on the museum's label, the puppeteer had to operate the mouth and eyes with his right arm extended above his head and the left wing with his left arm, "while watching a small monitor strapped to a harness and reading from script pages taped inside the puppet's body."
